Aside from horror novels, he has also written in other genres such as science fiction, non-fiction and short-fiction. King allegedly got his aspiration for penning horror stories from rummmaging through the attic and finding a collection of writings buy H.P. Lovecraft. The front cover had a "monster hiding within the recesses of a hell-like cavern beneath a tombstone" from which King drew inspiration to be a writer. He owns a waterfront Mansion in Sarasota, Florida.

A childy prodigy, Hingis went on to win 5 grand slam titles including the US Open (1), Wimbledon (1) and the Australian Open (3).
