If you’re visiting Florida this Easter, don’t forget to take part in a wide collection of fun-filled events taking place around the Sunshine State. There’s plenty to do, both for adults and children. Take a look at our top picks below!



Hunt for eggs in Winter Park
When: 15th April 2017

Every year, for 63 years in fact, Winter Park hosts their annual Easter egg hunt. Its great fun for kids, and equally as enjoyable for the adults who watch. All children aged 10 and below can take part, and entry is completely free. All they’ll need is a basket for storing their eggs!


The hunt will take place in Central Park and a huge 10,000 eggs will be hidden across the grounds. There’s no need to worry about little ones who don’t manage to find an egg either, there’s plenty of extra treats waiting for them in a special sweet area.


Winter Park lies just outside Orlando, less than a 20-minute drive away.


Join the Bunny Palooza in Miami
When: 14th – 16th April 2017

Head to Miami Seaquarium over the Easter weekend and enjoy a whole collection of Easter-themed events. Catch the largest Easter parade in South Florida, alongside multiple Easter egg hunts and regular visits from the Easter bunny!


Bouncy castles, slides, rides and even a kids-only foam zone are sure to help kids burn off some energy. Booking in advance is required, so don’t forget to do this before you visit!


Watch St. Augustine’s Easter Parade
When: 16th April 2017

If you’re in St Augustine, don’t miss their three-day Easter festival. The Easter parade is definitely not to be missed. You’ll see floats, clowns, marching bands and the all-important Easter bunny heading down San Marco Avenue! Afterwards comes a promenade ceremony where anyone can enter to win an award from one of the many competitions, including best hat and farthest from home.


Central Florida Zoo’s Hippity Hop Adventure
When: 15th April 2017

Families in Orlando will love taking part in Central Florida Zoo’s Hippity Hop Adventure. You’ll start at the beginning of the trail, answering clues and solving puzzles from the Easter Bunny while winning plenty of prizes along the way! The event is free when you buy a ticket to the zoo, so after all the Easter fun is over you have the entire day to enjoy visiting the animals. Younger children will love the Barnyard Buddies Children’s Zoo – they can meet alpacas and even feed some goats here!
