Where to eat in Orlando

  • Café Tutu Tango

'Food. Art. Fun.' is Café Tutu Tango's motto, and as soon as you step inside you can see why. You'll be met with a vibrantly decorated room filled with art from local creatives, and there's always some form of entertainment on, whether that's tango dancers, magicians or even opera singers. As for the food, expect some of the finest tapas around with an authentic Spanish taste.

  • Black Bean Deli

If you're looking for a traditional Cuban meal, stop by Black Bean Deli. Operating in central Florida for over 15 years, it's a go-to for locals who want big portions full of flavour for a low price. Everything is homemade, and the weekly specials are not to be missed!

Where to eat in Miami

Relaxing on South Beach or exploring Little Havana, whatever you're doing in Miami make sure you pay a visit to at least one of these top restaurants.

  • Pane & Vino

You'll find Pane & Vino on Washington Avenue, Miami Beach. The place to go if you love Italian food, this eatery and wine bar has a wonderful atmosphere and is perfect for special occasions. Everything is made fresh, and you can even watch pasta being made by hand by Pane & Vino's expert chefs.

  • Mister O1

Craving pizza in Miami? Head to Mister O1. There are three locations across the city, and the restaurant continuously receives rave reviews for their food. Service is fast but always friendly, and you'll be spoilt for choice with the extensive menu!

  • Santorini by Georgios

Another favourite in Miami Beach, Santorini brings exceptional Greek food to the heart of Florida. The mouth-watering menu and ambient location will leave you wanting more, and we certainly won't judge if you find yourself paying a second or even third visit before you fly back home.

Where to eat in Tampa

On Florida's West Coast lies Tampa, home to Busch Gardens and Ybor City. There's so much going on here, and plenty of amazing places to eat too, here are a few of our favourites:

  • Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe

Looking for a chilled-out location in Downtown Tampa? Visit Ella's American Folk Art Café. You'll find incredible American comfort food here, with a bunch of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available. It's a great place to grab a drink too, and you'll find live music here regularly as well.

  • The Refinery

The Refinery offers something special in Tampa, with the menu changing around three to four times a week. The minds behind The Refinery are passionate about working with local suppliers and farmers, using ingredients available to offer a unique menu packed full of flavour. Visit for brunch or dinner, bring little ones along and let them choose from their own kid's menu or pay a visit on an evening and sample the late-night menu with a cocktail. 

  • Rooster & the Till

The award-winning Rooster & the Till was born in 2013, created by Chef Ferrell Alvarez and Ty Rodriguez. Based in Seminole Heights, there's space for over 70 to dine here. Combining unique flavours to create exciting new dishes, it's an experience every diner is sure to love whether they visit for a late lunch or dinner.

I was really impressed with Tampa's food scene. It has lots of cool food markets including The Hall On Franklin and Armature Works. At both of those you can order from lots of different counters, sampling everything from ceviche to bao under one roof!

An American favourite, key lime pie was originally created using the delicious limes from the Florida Keys - so it makes sense that one of the best places in the U.S. to sample the dessert is Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe. Pop into the shop to pick up a slice or sit down and enjoy the pie in the café next door.

  • Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar

If you visit the delightful Islamorada, Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar is the place to be at sunset. This waterfront restaurant adds a Caribbean twist to its dishes, and groups large or small are welcome here. Sip on a cocktail as the sun goes down, and enjoy live entertainment long into the evening.
