You’ll only be a short drive away from all the iconic amusement parks, but there’s plenty to keep you occupied at home too. Each villa has a private pool for lazy days soaking up those Florida rays, and the community itself has some brilliant shared facilities, including a volleyball court and children’s play area.

Disney-lovers and adrenaline-junkies will be thrilled to learn that Calabay Parc is only 5 minutes by car to Walt Disney World, and half an hour to Universal, SeaWorld and several other theme parks.

Once you’ve had your fill of rollercoasters, it’s time for a beach day! Drive an hour east and you’ll reach the Gold Coast, and the Gulf Coast is an hour west, so there’s miles of white sand and sparkling blue sea in either direction.

Champions Gate Golf Course is another big attraction in the area, which is the perfect place to while away an afternoon. There are plenty of choices for the foodies too, including Chinese, Italian and hearty American cuisine, not to mention all your favourite chains to keep the little ones happy.
